House of Mexico - Supporting Our Culture and Traditions
The House of Mexico in San Diego is a 501(c)(3) corporation registered in the State of California. You may deduct a charitable contribution made to us. With your support to The House of Mexico we can make a difference, your contribution offers immediate resources that are directed to the current needs and opportunities the House of Mexico has to offer.
You will be helping us to foster and cultivate traditions from Mexico. Your contribution will serve to maintain and enhance the spirit of understanding, tolerance and goodwill among all the national groups residing in the city of San Diego and Southern California region, by presenting the history and culture of Mexico to the community.

Your generous gift will help us fund the construction of our casita at Balboa Park and solidify our presence in the 80 year history of the International Cottages in Balboa Park. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by Federal law.

Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team!
We provide year-round programming at Balboa Park sharing the rich culture, arts, food, and traditions of Mexico at many events in the park and in the community, including our Lawn Program, Ethnic Food Fair, and International Christmas events.
House of Mexico Cottage Exhibits
The 32 Mexican states will be exhibited in our cottage on a rotating basis. We highlighted Nayarit, Oaxaca and Yucatan in 2023. There was a beautiful altar for Dia de los Muertos and a lovely Christmas in Mexico display. January through March 2024, we will showcase items from our Members' personal collections. Check back to see when your state will be showcased.
